Answers to questions you didn’t know you should (or could) ask.
Insurance is to protect those you love. If you weren't here, would they be able to survive and thrive in your absence? Would they be financially taken care of? If the answer is "no" or "not sure," then you need insurance.
Of course! But for that quote to mean anything, it has to be a quote for a plan that solves your insurance needs. If it doesn’t meet your needs, then it’s just a number on a page.
It depends on several things; how much you owe, your salary, the future needs of your children, your final expenses, and any taxes that might be owed from your estate. It also may depend on if you want to leave a financial legacy behind.
Absolutely! A partner that stays at home to care for the home and family is an invaluable asset to the family dynamic. It they weren’t there, could you replace all the tasks they do and maintain your current work commitment? If not, could you afford to pay someone else to do it for you? Also, you may not be able to work after the passing of your partner while you heal, so having a financial buffer could be a great advantage.
Think of an insurance policy for a child as an investment in their financial future. It may be the only plan they will need in their lifetime. It could provide financial flexibility to pay for school, afford a down payment on a house, start a business, or travel the world...wherever their dreams take them. My parents started a plan for me when I was a child, and it helped me avoid being buried in debt when I finished university. I still have that policy. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
It depends on your sickness and when you were sick, or why you were denied in the past. There are many forms of special coverage for those that might be difficult to insure.
If you're self-employed and unable to work for whatever reason, you will likely be unable to earn a wage. Think of disability insurance as income replacement insurance. It can help tide you over until you can get back to work or replace your income should you never earn a living again.
Critical illness is a type of insurance that pays out a lump sum should you become ill and survive! It will give you a source of funds to help with treatment, replace missed income, pay bills and living expenses. You can even get critical illness insurance that will give back all you paid into it if you never use it.
Nothing. Nada. Ever. The insurance companies pay me. No matter how long it might take to find your best solution, you will never pay me for how I help you.
I am a broker. That means I work with many different insurance companies to guide you to your best solution. I am not branded to any one company, nor do I have any quotas to fill. An agent usually is branded to one particular insurance company and can only offer that company’s solutions.
